Karen Paisey

Born in Bath and former pupil of The Royal Ballet School from the age of 10 years. Graduated into The Royal Ballet Company at 17 years and promoted to Principal at 23 years where she performed many leading roles in the Classics including Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Gardée, Two Pigeons, Rhapsody and The Dream.

Since retiring Karen has been teaching on The Royal Ballet School’s (RBS) Associate Programme and Audition Tour as well as being a guest teacher at several RBS Summer Schools. Karen is a guest teacher for the English National Ballet School and teaches both nationally and internationally. She also holds a permanent position at her local Dance School in Bath.
