Dance Forward could not have taken such a bold step to set-up and run, in the space of less than six months, one of the world’s best Easter Schools, without the belief, encouragement and financial support of a number of individuals. Moreover, without the commitment of the faculty who made the Easter School world-class I would not be able to write this message.

Following the outstanding success of the inaugural Easter School this year, it became very clear to me that, in order to provide for the demand for extra student places, I needed to more than double the dance studio space at the 2006 Easter School. With the very generous support of John and Glynis Billett, Dance Forward is able to provide the world’s best dance floor that is used by all the major dance companies, Harlequin Floors, for the 2nd large Studio which is 18 metres by 13 metres.

Seeing the incredibly high standard of the talented young dancers who travelled from the far corners of the UK to take part on my Easter School was a humbling experience for me. I know how hard it can be for some parents to find the fees to support their son or daughter’s dream to become a professional dancer. Last year, I was able to support some talented dancers whose parents simply could not afford all the fees. Without the support of the following kind people I could not have made….
