Vanessa Donkin

Vanessa Donkin trained for seven years at both The Royal Ballet Lower and Upper Schools and went on to dance professionally with The Royal Ballet Company and Cape Town City Ballet.

After completing the Royal Academy of Dance Professional Dancers Teachers Course (graduating with Distinction) Vanessa spent a year teaching in Los Angeles, CA. She has subsequently worked extensively for the Royal Academy of Dance teaching on various summer/easter schools worldwide and holding repertoire workshops around the UK.

Vanessa completed filming the live action segments for the children's TV series 'Angelina Ballerina' in 2001 which is currently being broadcast both here and in the US.

In 2002, Vanessa set up her own school, The Ballet School in Notting Hill.
