Online Lessons Terms & Conditions

  • It is recommended that students booking online lessons should take out their own insurance in case of a need to withdraw from lesson/s booked due to injury or any other reason

  • Dance Forward and the tutor cannot be held responsible for any injury sustained before, during or after the online lesson. 

  • Ballet does involves physical repetitive exercise putting strain on muscles, joints, ligaments. There are inherent risks of serious personal injury involved in these activities. If you slip and fall during the class it could be possible that you need to cease taking the class and go to your local hospital for treatment. Neither Dance Forward or the tutor can be responsible for any costs incurred by the student if they are injured before, during or after the online lesson and require treatment such as, but notwithstanding, Doctor, Physiotherapy or Hospital Treatment.

  • The dancer undertaking the online lesson agrees and understands the risks involved in taking an online ballet lesson with a Dance Forward tutor and takes full responsibility for any injury, illness, death, damage to property or loss, financial obligation, loss of privacy, and all other injuries and other consequences that may result, directly or indirectly, from their participation in online dance lessons with Dance Forward. Should an injury occur during the online lesson and the student is unable to continue with the lesson a refund cannot be given under any circumstances

  • Should the dancer need to cancel their online lesson you must give Dance Forward at least 72 hours notice by email prior to the agreed class time in order to receive a full refund. The dancer or payee of the online lesson will need to email Dance Forward stating your class time for the refund to be processed.  online@danceforward.co.uk Dance Forward also retains the right to make a refund minus any costs it incurs such as a credit card commission. If a series has been booked a refund will only be given if the dancer cancels giving at least 72 hours prior to the first class of the series. A refund cannot be given under any circumstances once you have had your first lesson of the series booked.

  • Should the dancer need to cancel the lesson, for any reason, giving Dance Forward less than 72 hours notice by email before the start of the class, Dance Forward will unfortunately not be able to give a refund of the cost of the class.

  • A lesson can be rescheduled, at no extra cost, as long as you give us 48 hours notice. Please email online@danceforward.co.uk requesting the lesson is rescheduled.

  • Dance Forward retains the right to change its Online Lessons Terms and Conditions from time to time without giving notice to those who have booked. If you keep using Dance Forward after the Online Lessons Terms and Conditions have been amended/supplemented, you unconditionally agree to the amended/supplemented Online Lessons Terms and Conditions. If you do not wish to accept the amendments and/or supplements, your only remedy is to cease using Dance Forward Online Lessons.

  • When you book a single online lesson you must offer a date for the lesson on the booking form within one month of the date of booking / payment. If you book a series of lessons you must complete the series within 6 months of the booking / payment date.

  • It is agreed by all parties that after the first private lesson with a Dance Forward tutor, all future online lessons with the tutor will be booked via Dance Forward’s online teaching platform www.danceforward.co.uk It is agreed by all parties (the tutor, student and payee of the lesson) not to share personal details with each other during the online ballet lesson in order to book the services of a Dance Forward tutor without knowledge of Dance Forward at any time in the future

  • Dance Forward and the tutor cannot be responsible for any fault or loss of internet connection during the booked online lesson. The agreed allocated time slot for the online lesson cannot be extended, if any technical fault occurs with either parties device or fault or drop in internet connection during the lesson.
